Arrive in Kigali. Meet and greet assistance. You will hand over to and warmly welcomed by our vacate travel representative outside customs and immigration hall. You will be transferred to your city hotel. Tour briefing will be conducted at the lobby over a welcome drink.
Check in assistance, followed by a welcome dinner and overnight stay.
The day begins bright and early, driving to the park headquarters at 5:30 am with a delicious packed breakfast. After an insightful chimpanzee trek briefing, you’ll be escorted to the Evergreen Forest for 6 am, when the adventure begins. Alongside the famous chimps, you are likely to spot a wide variety of bird-life. Their playfulness and humanlike characteristics make this journey rewarding. You may even be welcomed by chimp morning calls deep in the forest. Upon encountering the chimps, you can stay in their presence for one hour as you enjoy their acrobatics, feeding, and day-to-day behaviours.
You’ll make your return to the resort at around 11 am and Lunch will follow at 12:30 pm. 2:00 pm: We will transfer you to the park headquarters for canopy walk briefing that takes place at 2:30 pm. Your guided canopy walk will start at 3:00 pm.
Experience the rainforest from a dazzling new perspective – on the famous Canopy Walkway. The only walk of its kind in East Africa, this breathtaking construction hangs 60 meters above the forest floor between giant trees and towers, revealing a stunning view of the flora and fauna, both below and above. An iconic experience, not to be missed!
Breakfast at the lodge, check out and settlement of any extras then transfer to the park offices for Colobus Monkey Trek briefing and start the adventure. After transfer to Kigali with lunch en route. Arrive in Kigali and drop off at your hotel or the airport depending on your flight schedule.
